Dr. Elliott Millinor, DVM
Dr. Elliott Millinor is proud to serve the community where he was raised. A native of Taylorsville, North Carolina, he grew up surrounded by agriculture at Circle D, where his family owned and operated a Western wear, tack, and feed store. Friday night rodeos and livestock were a staple of his childhood and shaped his lifelong connection to animal agriculture.
Elliott earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he was involved in conservation and ecology research. He later pursued doctoral studies at Arizona State University, working with the Navajo Nation on wildlife and agricultural policy that integrated traditional knowledge with Western science.
He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Arizona as part of its inaugural class. Dr. Millinor has a strong interest in large animal medicine, sustainable agriculture, and long-term herd health management. He opened his practice in 2023.
He is committed to providing dependable, practical veterinary care to equine and livestock operations throughout Alexander County and the surrounding region.
