Our farm call fees are based on mileage radius from our home office. Emergency fees are a sliding scale and include daytime, after hours, weekend, and holiday rates. Pricing is reviewed and updated annually. If you need more details about pricing, please contact us directly for an estimate.

Emergency Services

We are committed to providing dependable emergency veterinary care to our established clients while maintaining the safety and medical readiness necessary to serve our community long-term. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call our main number for instructions. Calls are monitored after hours.

Emergency Availability

After-hours emergency services are available for established clients with a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) which is established through annual wellness appointments (not problem appointments or emergencies). All calls are initially assessed by telephone so that we can provide guidance and determine the most appropriate course of action.

Service Area

To ensure safe and timely response, after-hours farm calls are generally limited to patients located within approximately 40 miles of our practice location in Taylorsville. Requests beyond this distance are evaluated based on medical urgency, travel conditions, and doctor availability.

Emergency Prioritization

After-hours services are reserved for urgent, potentially life-threatening conditions such as dystocia, colic, severe illness or injury, or other situations requiring immediate veterinary attention. Non-critical concerns may be scheduled for the next available appointment.
